Day 5

Day 5

Prayer for protection, care, salvation and guidance over their spirits, souls and bodies

Ps 25 is a beautiful prayer for the Lord’s protection, care and guidance over our children. Ask Holy Spirit which children, apart from your own, needs to be included. Let us pray!

Father, as mothers we come today, praying Your Word as written in Ps 25 over these children. We thank You that the Scripture is as Your breath being released over them.

UNTO YOU, O Lord, do we bring our lives. O my God, we trust, lean on, rely on, and are confident in You. Let our children not be put to shame or [their hope in You] be disappointed; let not their enemies triumph over them. Yes, let none who trust and wait hopefully and look for You be put to shame or be disappointed; let them be ashamed who forsake the right or deal treacherously without cause.

Show them Your ways, O Lord; teach them Your paths. Guide them in Your truth and faithfulness and teach them, for You are the God of their salvation; for You [You only and altogether] do we wait [expectantly] all the day long. Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercy and loving-kindness; for they have been ever from of old. Remember not the sins (the lapses and frailties) of their youth or their transgressions; according to Your mercy and steadfast love remember them, for Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.

Good and upright is the Lord; therefore, will He instruct sinners in [His] way. Father, teach them humility and lead them in Your way which is right. Let their feet know Your paths of mercy and steadfast love, even truth and faithfulness making them mindful of Your covenants and testimonies. For Your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon our iniquity and our guilt, for [they are] great.

Father, grant them to become those who reverently fear and worship You. Teach them in the ways that they should choose. Bless them with the ability to dwell at ease, granting our offspring to inherit the land. We proclaim our children will revere and worship You and the secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord is their portion. Show them Your covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning.

Hook their eyes to be ever toward You, for You will pluck their feet out of the net. Lord, turn to them and be gracious to them, for they are sometimes lonely and afflicted. The troubles of their hearts are multiplied; bring them out of their distresses. Behold their affliction and their pain and forgive all their sins of thinking and doing. Consider their enemies, for they abound; they hate them with cruel hatred. O keep them Lord, and deliver them, let them not be ashamed or disappointed, for our trust and our refuge is in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve them, for we wait for and expect You. Redeem Them, O God, out of all their troubles. Psalm 25:1-22 AMPC

We pray this in the Name of Yeshua. Amen.
