Fear Not!

Fear Not!

Fear is one of the most prevelant enemies we have to overcome in this day and age. For me, it is plain and simple; when I have a fearful heart it means I do not trust God. Fear is a lie that the enemy tells us. It is something I believe as truth, but according to God’s word it is a lie. Fear is in contradiction to who God is. We need to “brainwash” (by the washing of the Word) our minds that carry this lie with truth. Who is truth? Jesus, who is the Word. It is neccesary to deal with the root of the lie that you believe and at the same time start declaring the word of God over yourself until your belief system changes. It’s going to require you to keep at it until it is second nature for you to resist the enemy when the voice of unbelief and worry tries to overwhelm you, and to stand on God’s word.

Father God, I come to you by the blood of Jesus Christ and I want to bring my petition before You. Please forgive me for my fearful heart, Father I know that when I am anxious it means that I do not trust You. I am guilty and I repent for bending under the pressures and the noise of the world.

I know I am looking with my natural eyes and not with my spiritual eyes. I repent, please forgive me and cleanse me with Your blood.

Father, and now I proclaim Your word over myself in Jesus name.

Isaiah 41: 10 “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Timothy 1:7 “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” Father, please forgive me for lacking in self-control, for loosing control when fear has taken hold of my heart. Please wash me in Your blood; especially from the affects it has had on my body. Please bring peace to my spirit, soul and body in Jesus name.

I proclaim Psalm 34:4 “I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.”

Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Father, Philippians 4:6-7 states; “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. I know that I haven’t brought my prayers and worries before You, I have tried to work it out in my mind. Therefore I have not received peace. I ask forgiveness for not putting my trust in You and only leaning on myself. Please cleanse me from my sin in Jesus name, remove from me the restlessness in my heart by the blood of Jesus Christ.

I choose to trust You according to 1 Peter 5:7 – I choose to cast all my anxieties on You, because You care for me.

I take You at Your word according to John 14:27 that reads; “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Thank You Father that You will bring me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Please set me completely free from all my fears and anxiety. I give You permission to come in and heal me.

I ask that You will please help my unbelief in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and amen.
