Day 12

Day 12

Today, we pray for our children to live balanced lives.

Father, we come before You in the name of Yeshua, interceding for our children. Father, today we present the scales and measuring devices of their lives before You.

We repent and take full responsibility for the fact that we, as our children, so quickly walk down the path of unbalanced thoughts and actions. Father, we easily become self-centred and goal orientated and we often loose our focus of You. Please forgive us.

Father, grant our children the gift of enjoyment of that which they participate in. Grant them the ability to develop the talents You have bestowed on them stripped of expectation, pressure and performance. Father, grant them the fulfilment of knowing that their essence has already been accepted and approved by You (Jer 1:5).

Grant them the gift of enjoying and seeing the little miracles around them. In the Name of Yeshua we repent of our generational wounds that make us feel inadequate and illegitimate. Forgive us for the masks of pretence we carry to hide our sense of not being good enough. Father, we ask, in the Name of Yeshua that our children be removed from any and all dark kingdom measuring and comparison devices. Please remove them from the dark scales and measuring rods of comparison and jealousy. Father in the name of Yeshua we ask that the labels and mindsets of ‘I cannot, will never be able to…’ be stripped from them by the blood of the Lamb. We declare they are able for You are able!

We ask, in the name of Yeshua that Your Kingdom laws of righteousness and justice will be their only plumb line.

We bless them with knowing that they are sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. 2 Cor 3:5.

In the Name of Yeshua we bless them to trust steadily, hope unswervingly and to love extravagantly.

We bless their spirit man to walk and live according to Your instructions in all things.

We ask that their focus will shift from the soul and flesh to their spirit man; becoming aglow with zeal. In the name of Yeshua we bless and declare them to:

Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavour; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord. Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of God’s people [sharing in the necessities of the saints]; pursue the practice of hospitality. Bless those who persecute you [who are cruel in their attitude toward you]; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others’ joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing others’ grief]. Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and

give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits. [Prov. 3:7.] Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest and proper and noble [aiming to be above reproach] in the sight of everyone. [Prov. 20:22.] If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:11-18 AMPC

We pray this in the name of Yeshua, Amen.
