Day 24
Praying over the condition of their hearts
Father, today I come before Your throne, covered by the blood of the Lamb, holding my heart and those of my children and husband in my hands. Father, we are so concerned with the outside but, you look at our hearts. We have ignored the state of our hearts for generations, please forgive us!
As I look at our hearts I see many wounds, scrapes and aches. Father, we are bleeding with worry, concern and uncertainty. I see where the words, opinions and judgements of others stick like knives from our hearts – penetrating deeper and deeper with their venomous lies of not being good enough.
I see the marks of disappointment and failure on our hearts as well as the scars of fear. I see where our hearts have turned into stone in an effort to protect ourselves through bitterness and so many vows of ….’never again would I let’…
I see the heart transplants we have allowed and agreed upon to change ourselves, our outlook and belief system – to somehow fit in – to somehow be acceptable in the world. I see the foreign blood of sin, guilt and shame pumping through our hearts.
I see the pain of unshed tears. The pain of blocked, hidden emotions. I see the wounds of trauma and fear. I see the blocked arteries of bitterness, hate and revenge. I see death and hopelessness wrapped around our hearts.
Oh, my King what a mess! Today, we take full responsibility for this mess.
We repent for not guarding our hearts as a most valued treasure and having therefore lost the flow of the waters of life! Prov 4:23
We repent for the state of brokenness that our hearts are in. I thank You, Yeshua that You came to heal the broken hearted. Is 61.
Today, we surrender our hearts to You, to be washed by the blood of the Lamb, to be anointed with Your healing oil, to be bound by faith, hope and love. Please remove the weapons stuck in our hearts. We thank You that in the name of Yeshua the debris is being removed so that the springs of life is no longer blocked but can freely flow again.
I pray that our hearts will be once again filled with joy. We choose today to forgive those who have hurt us even if it is hard. We make a wilful decision to choose to forgive – whether we feel they deserve it or not.
Father, because of the condition of our hearts we cannot love You with ALL of our hearts. We repent and ask that for Your names’ sake that Your dwelling place in us will be cleansed and restored and healed. In the name of Yeshua we ask that all dedications of our hearts to any other source or other God in all time, space and
dimension is cancelled. We give our hearts to You. In the name of Yeshua, we ask that You would remove our deceitful false hearts. Please restore Your heart in us! Do the necessary transplant and restoration my King.
Thank you, that You are willing to trade with us. To give us beauty for our ashes. Thank you for breathing your life into our hearts. Thank you for removing the death and discouragement wraps from our hearts and we ask in the name of Yeshua that You would cloak our hearts with joy and salvation!
This is a new day! I thank you for restoring us through the resurrection power of Yeshua. I speak life and wholeness over us, in the name of Yeshua.
I bless our hearts with a restored wall of fire around it. I bless our hearts to pump with faith and hope. May Your Love make its perfect dwelling place in us, we pray!
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14 AMPC
Thank You, Abba Father, Amen.
