Below is a list of crafted prayers that you can use to pray into specific areas. You can also use them as a way to learn some vocabulary. Many people don’t know where to start or how to pray. Hopefully this will help you to get a feel for how to pray effectively. We know that agreement has power. The word of God says that where two or more agree on anything it will be established. How much more when we pray God’s word and come into agreement with Him? The best way to pray is to find what God’s Word says about someting and to come into agreement with it – to use it to stand against the whiles of the enemy.

How to use these prayers

Its important to realize that these prayers are crafted prayers. Use them as a guide to help you get going and to help you focuss on that which you want to deal with. If you think about it, when a wall that was built up for many years needs to come down, it is going to take time to smash it down. You have to beat and beat and beat it until it falls. Many times we are required to pray the same type of prayers over and over and over until that wall comes down. Let’s not be deceived to think that just praying a quick prayer will sort all our problems at once – we need to knock and keep knocking. Somethings are dealt with quickly – one prayer does it. But know that sometimes you need to go much deeper into an issue to get rid of it.

This does not mean that you need to twist God’s arm or somehow beg or persuade Him. We often pray against ourselves. He answers the prayer and we are delivered immediately but we have to change our behavior. We need to reprogram ourselves from the years of practice of responding in a certain way. The most effort comes in changing our behavior – renewing our minds.
